Here is a picture of my own Delorean DMC-12 at Yale University. I thought the engraving on the gateway was appropriate for those who think the Delorean car and company are "dead". It is an Oct. '81 model, with a five speed transmission and grey leather interior. I bought it about 4 years ago when I was 16. It was pretty destroyed when I bought it, but have done some major repairs to restore it. This included a complete tear down of the car to have the front and rear ends of the frame replaced (look for the pictures!) and a complete redo of the interior. Most of the major work was done at PJ Grady's in Long Island. If you have a Delorean on the East coast, this is the place to go. They have excellent service, and can get just about any part you need. Also, if you are looking to buy your first Delorean, you should seriously consider going here. They take decent Deloreans, give them the necessary upgrades to get them reliable, then sell them with a warranty.
